Blackthorn are a six-piece 'folk-rock'(ish!) band from Oxfordshire. With fiddles, bouzouki, drums, electric-bass and electric-guitar they take traditional British songs and tunes and give them their own twist. Songs about clapped-out nags, cross-dressing sailor girls, gruesome murders, and cheating philanderers abound.
